-It is a new and unique travel package which we think will suit lots of fans, says Simon Johansson, the creator and captain of the project.
Johansson is the owner of the sales driven event company Simon Promotion. The idea of the Rally Cruise came to him at one of the WRC stages last winter.
-When Rally Sweden moved to Umeå in 2022, a lot of the traditional fans hesitated to go. Umeå felt too far away and staying overnight was a challenge. This, unfortunately, meant a lot of fans missed out on a fantastic rally and a successful start to a new era. With the Rally Cruise , we want to gather the rally enthusiasts and bring them to the WRC festivities in Umeå. They can travel with the Rally Cruise, stay on the ferry overnight, eat and socialize, while chartered buses will take them out to the WRC stages, says Johansson.
The Swedish rally enthusiasts can, depending on where they live, connect to Stockholm by Viking Line´s transfer buses.
-With 1600 guests on the Cinderella, which has a maximum capacity of 2500 passengers, we can guarantee a quality experience. It can´t get any easier and more convenient.
The Rally Cruise departs from Stockholm 11 o´clock Thursday (Check-in from 07.00) and returns on Sunday at 14.00.
